Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation
A 4-Week Group for Women in Peri-Menopause
Program Overview
Peri-menopause can feel like you’ve been handed a body and nervous system you don’t recognize - and then expected to carry on like everything is fine.
This 4-week mindfulness meditation course offers a supportive, real-life space for women navigating the ups, downs, and WTF moments of peri-menopause. You might be tired, irritated, emotional, sweaty…and still expected to function. We’re not here to “fix” anything or pretend everything is serene. We’re here to learn how to be with what’s happening - without turning on ourselves.
Each session includes simple teachings. a gentle guided meditation, and shared reflection. Practices are trauma-informed and offered with choice, flexibility, and a healthy respect for fluctuating energy, strong emotions, and the occasional desire to scream into the void.
We’ll practice together, because doing this alone is exhausting, and because there’s something deeply relieving about being in a room (or Zoom) with women who are navigating the same terrain.
Practicing in Community
Community is central to this program. Practicing together helps normalize experience, soften isolation, and foster compassion - for oneself and for one another.
The emphasis is not on fixing or controlling symptoms, but on learning how to be present with what is happening, with greater ease and care.
Mindfulness is presented in a clear, accessible, and down-to-earth way - something that fits into real life. The course supports women in developing a steady, kind relationship with themselves and offers tools they can return to long after the course ends.
